From Starkville Mississippi to Cergy France

06 Feb, 2011… The Louvre

So, this Sunday a few of us went to the Louvre. Wow… Just Wow! There’s so much to see in there. We easily spent 6 hours there and still haven’t seen everything. I’ll definitely have to go back next month. We found out that the 1st Sunday of every month The Louvre is free. Good deal! Ha ha! There was a long line, but the wait wasn’t so bad. There is so much detail on the outside of the building it’s ridiculous. It was almost annoying because I wanted to take pictures of everything, but I simply couldn’t. Anyway, here are some of the pics.

(Me outside The Louvre)

(Ashley outside The Louvre)

(Joe outside The Louvre)

(The one and only)

(Awesome angel statue. I really loved this one. It sits at the top of some stairs right in the middle.)

(One of the many paintings on the ceiling)

(Pharoah with drumsticks?)

(Fish Dish)

(This is how we do lunch in Europe. Generic Nutella and bread sticks. I love just packing lunch for the day and going into Paris. It makes it really cheap. Wake up at 8:30am, throw some oranges, water bottles, bread sticks and nutella in your bag and you’re good to go! The entire day of awesome only cost me about 7 Euros for the train ticket into town. The rest is free!!! :D  C’est la vie!)

(Napoleon Bonaparte’s dinner table. Legit)

(Angels)

So, that’s all I’m going to post on here. However there are a total of 374 photos I’ve uploaded to my Slide account if you want to see. Here’s the link: http://www.slide.com/r/7PA0gsF23T-EH_-u-0R1x7Qt0vzTJRrS?previous_view=mscd_embedded_url&view=original

Check it out! Also, for some reason not all the photos I uploaded are showing at the moment. But I’ll work on it to try to get them all on there.

One more thing, here’s the link I said I would post for 05 Feb, 2011. Some pretty good pictures in there too.
